    4th Annual CCPEP Convocation

    CSUSM McMahan House

    Cultural Proficiency has brought us together as colleagues, professionals, and friends. The current political, cultural, social, and emotional forces seem overwhelming for our educational environment. To meet today’s post-pandemic challenges, we will gather to engage in conversations for clarity and purpose.

    The outcomes for this Convocation Conversation are to:

    • Continue to build a support network for each person /community as we journey towards Cultural Proficiency
    • Provide a reflective environment to reassert focus for ourselves and the organizations we serve
    • Engage with leaders and teams who are successfully implementing Culturally Proficient Practice
    • Explore and engage with break-out dialogues, panel discussions, and featured speakers to revisit the integrity and intentionality of the 4 Tools of Cultural Proficiency developed by Terry Cross
